For the third year running we participated in the Truffle & Lagotto Weekend on Gotland.
This year we entered the youngest member of our gang of truffle searchers, Gleska Goody Two Shoes,
and she didn’t disappoint us. At only 18 months of age and at her very first truffle competition she was
awarded eccellente and was 2nd best bitch out of 15 bitches. Italian judge Luca Rondinini gave
her the following critique:
Soggetto brillante che svolge la prova con ansatura di trotto. Spazia bene nel terreno. La cerca
e ancora un po disorganizzata. Risale ottimamente l’emanazione sfruttanso il vento. Realizza
3 forate concluse correttamente.
On Sunday “Mocca” was also entered at the lagotto open show and by winning Best Bitch she really
proved that working ability and show qualities can go hand in hand. Breed specialist Senja Mäkinen judged
the open show.
